Biofuel Express is looking for an ambitious Supply & Sourcing Manager to join our team to provide market intelligence and develop strong biofuel sourcing from suppliers globally.
Our core focus is the biofuel market, driven by the green impact to the environment and a continued vision to remain the leading specialist within sustainable fuel alternatives, and has since pioneering the Nordic market in 2008 helped our customers decarbonizing their fleets within busses and heavy transport.
In 2022, a net greenhouse gas reduction of 309.500 tons CO2eq was achieved thanks to our customers’ conversion from fossil diesel to fossil free renewable alternatives, such B100 Biodiesel RME and HVO100 Renewable Diesel.
We are a trusted partner to both our customers and suppliers, valued on our advisory based on our expertise and market insight in the biofuel products, engine compatibility, legislation and green regulatory frameworks, which are key elements to our success and continuous high growth rates, with strong profitable financial results.
Based on our experience and market leading position in the Nordic markets, Biofuel Express is now expanding its activities to new European markets, on top of accelerating market demand from companies’ active environmental initiatives in existing markets.
As our Supply & Sourcing Manager, you will play a vital role to ensure the right supply and sourcing to facilitate our continued growth, which include product sourcing and oil terminal assessment, besides adding marketing intelligence from your analyses and in-depth market know-how. You will at the same time perform a strategic important contribution to the business development assessing new potential opportunities in the fuel market.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Building up profitable portfolio for the company across the biofuels market
- Negotiations between parties, securing the best conditions and professional contracts
- Developing new contacts and business activities for the company as well as maintaining strong relationships with our existing supplier base
- Oil terminals – from blueprint identification of potential locations to lease contract management
- Forecast and nominations – matching and coordination of sales / purchases of adequate quality between suppliers and customers as well as timely supply to own terminals
- Monitor (bio)fuel legislation in relevant markets
- Assistance in the international expansion plans of the company to increase market share
- Follow opportunities within fuel markets – e.g. new products and evaluate for entrance
Required skills
- Good understanding of energy markets and experience from trading of diesel and sustainable biofuels – preferable HVO100 Renewable Diesel and B100 Biodiesel RME.
- Knowledge to EU and North West European national legislation within diesel and biofuels for segments like land transport
- Ability to establish trading relationships with energy companies and suppliers of alternative fuels
- Contract management and negotiation skills
- Experience with freight and shipping of various commodities
- Knowledge to terminal handling
- Fluent in English

This is a full-time position from our office in Randers, located next to the highway, with easy access from all over East Jutland. Excellent office facilities with delicious canteen and gym available.
